Hi guys!
Valentine’s Day is coming up!
While I have to say that I spent my entire high school career more or less hating the holiday because I never had anyone special to share it with, it holds a special place in my heart now. On Valentine’s Day of 2009, I married my very best friend, and we’re living out our happily ever after (kids, cats, unlimited Hershey bars, and all kinds of ridiculousness included).
To be honest, I still find it hard to believe that we’re going to be married for 8 years (and together for 9 1/2), but every day I feel blessed that I’ve met my soul mate.
So, when Valentine’s Day rolls around, I’m now that annoying and sweet “yay, love!” kind of girl, and really enjoy those super sweet romances.
I don’t know if any of you have had the chance to read the amazingly cute (and perfect for Valentine’s Day!) Romeo & What’s Her Name by Shani Petroff, but if you haven’t, and you enjoy cute, swoon worthy romances, you really need to check this one out!
Here’s a little information about the book, and down below you can enter a nifty little giveaway as my way of saying an early Happy Valentine’s Day to you (and may you get tons of chocolate. And books of course).
Romeo & What’s Her Name
Author: Shani Petroff
Publication Date: February 7th, 2017
Publisher: Swoon Reads
Synopsis: Understudies never get to perform…
. . . which is why being Juliet’s understudy in the school’s yearly “Evening with Shakespeare” is the perfect role for Emily. She can earn some much-needed extra credit while pursuing her main goal of spending time with Wes, aka Romeo, aka the hottest, nicest guy in school (in her completely unbiased opinion). And she meant to learn her lines, really, it’s just:
a) Shakespeare is HARD,
b) Amanda, aka the “real” Juliet, makes her run errands instead of lines, and
c) there’s no point because Amanda would never miss the chance to be the star of the show.
Then, Amanda ends up in the hospital and Emily, as the (completely unprepared!) understudy, has to star opposite the guy of her dreams. Oops?
Giveaway!
Enter to win an ARC of Romeo & What’s Her Name by Shani Petroff, a Swoon Reads tote, and a few bookmarks (because honestly, who doesn’t need extra?). Open to U.S. residents only.
This is hard! Me Before You pops into my head first so that’s what I’ll go with.
I STILL haven’t read this! I really need to get a copy!
My favorite romance novel is Summer of Supernovas by Darcy Woods.
I have heard such amazing things about this! I have a copy, so I’ll definitely be needing to read this one soon! Thanks for stopping by, and good luck!

Thank you so much! Happy early anniversary to you and your husband, too!
I never read many romance novels before this past year. But there have been several contemporaries that I read that I really enjoyed. A few are: Summer of Supernovas, Unicorn Tracks, My Lady Jane, When We Collided, Ripple, Summer of Sloane, Wild Swans, Girl Against the Universe, The Sun is Also A Star…. OK there are a lot more that I read than I realized as there are several more on my list lol!
Happy Anniversary early and thank you for this giveaway!
I have only read a few of these, but I loved Wild Swans, Girl Against the Universe, and The Sun is Also a Star! Thank you for the anniversary wishes, and good luck with the giveaway!
My favorite is The Wedding by Nicholas Sparks.
