All Your Twisted Secrets

Welcome to dinner, and again, congratulations on being selected. Now you must do the selecting.
What do the queen bee, star athlete, valedictorian, stoner, loner, and music geek all have in common? They were all invited to a scholarship dinner, only to discover it’s a trap. Someone has locked them into a room with a bomb, a syringe filled with poison, and a note saying they have an hour to pick someone to kill … or else everyone dies.
Amber Prescott is determined to get her classmates and herself out of the room alive, but that might be easier said than done. No one knows how they’re all connected or who would want them dead. As they retrace the events over the past year that might have triggered their captor’s ultimatum, it becomes clear that everyone is hiding something. And with the clock ticking down, confusion turns into fear, and fear morphs into panic as they race to answer the biggest question: Who will they choose to die?
This was such an amazing read!
I so do love a good thriller, and this was definitely up there on my list for thrillers that I really liked. And it wasn’t just a thriller, either – it was a twisty thriller, too – and even I didn’t see what was coming next. The fact that this kept me on my toes is enough right there to make me recommend it to thriller fans – and that’s not even taking into account how amazing the writing was, the plot, or the characters.
First of all, the cover of this book kind of reminds me of a poster for a thriller movie, and that kind of gets your attention. This looks really interesting, and with the red covering the eyes of the characters on the cover, it really makes you want to know more about what the book is about.
Next, the synopsis sounds fantastic. It sounds like it could easily be a movie. And another great thing about this book? It actually reads like a movie. It’s fast paced, entertaining, and extremely enjoyable. I couldn’t put this one down. I just kept reading and reading until I was finished. In fact, I kind of walked around doing everyday tasks with a phone in front of my face reading it until I was done. It was just that good.
I loved the characters – they all had their own unique personalities, which made this book so much more entertaining. I love when all the characters in a book are well thought out and you can tell the difference between them thanks to the fact that the author gave them defining traits that make them unique.
The plot was twisty and full of turns that made the ending almost impossible to see coming – putting the little details together was fun, and I really liked the way that the author switched things up and made this book end the way it did!
I really liked this one, and if you like thrillers, it’s a great one to add to your list!
Note: I received an eARC of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review – Thank you!
